Looks Can Be Deceptive

Looks can be deceptive, especially when the object is fluid enough to fit into any frame of reference. And, fluid is what I expect this site to be. For now it’s fluid enough for me to modify the presentation easily and quickly. So that the site may evolve with me. Hopefully in future this space will be truly fluid from the user’s point of view as well. For now, I am far from that goal.

The Bhagwad Gita says that the soul is neither created nor destroyed, it just changes body – just the way we change garments. Perhaps that is a bit too massive an analogy for the concept of separation between ‘content’ and ‘presentation’ of a website. Nevertheless it still suggests the state of affairs. The content or the soul of the site remains the same. It’s only the garment or the presentation that I’ve changed.
