Just One of those Mornings

Just one of those winter mornings, when you wake up reluctantly and with much effort emerge out of the quilt-already late for work, wouldn’t help much to rush things up. So I take my own sweet time to get ready.

“I guess I can at least work out for fifteen minutes, just a little jog” – yes I can, I am late anyway.

All morning rituals taken care of; water will be warm enough in a few minutes. It was a long and boring weekend and getting to work seems to be a good break from the monotony.

“What do I wear today?” Winters are fading away-treacherous weather. It’s always tricky to judge how warm your cloths should be. Sun threatens to bake you inside a sweater yet you never know when a cold wind starts blowing. A jacket is a good solution. Adjust the air conditioning through manual operation of closing and opening the buttons.

Now which jacket with which shirt? And, which footwear to go with it? And the accessories? Choices and decisions. But I am good at it …mostly. So I am done in maximum five minutes.

Bathed. Dressed. Combed. All ready…

Breakfast & tea – dear Mom is having her usual busy start of the day fixing up everyone’s breakfast and lunch. She made my favorite veggie today.

I am loaded and all set to go.

Then I load my bags into the car. I get in the car thinking which music to play today.

Wave ‘bye’ to mother…she is ever so sweet.

I turn the key…some grumbling noise…

I try again…just some more noise…

WTF! It’s not starting again!

Hell no! The meeting with boss; a discussion on the pending project; system that had to be tested; all plans gone down the drain! The day would now be spent fighting with the inefficient, useless, buggers at the workshop!
