Chi and Qi – Episode 3

Just Foolin’ Around!

Sometimes there are too many waves in the glass bowl. Yeah it’s possible, wind causes it. So when there are too many waves, even the poor fishes can get too disoriented. But then vulnerability is not everyone’s cup of tea. And, very few can see through the transparent glass bowl.

Who am I talking about?

Which one refers to whom?

Think about it…

Chi:      What a tease! I wonder if this is some kind of a practical joke that life’s playing on me!

Qi:        You are the one who is being a joker 

Chi:      I don’t think that was funny!
Qi:        But you refuse to get serious and be worldly-wise

Chi:      I fail to understand this world. As if I am stranger in Moscow. “Ye duniya…ye mehfil…kis kaam ki?”
Qi:        Don’t tell me that you are dreaming of renouncing this world…the glass bowl.  Fishes don’t climb to mountain tops!

Chi:      I wish! I wish! I WISH!
Qi:        Stop being a beggar! Anyway fishes don’t need horses!

Chi:      But I want. I TOO want. And I am not asking for a horse!
Qi:        If only you’d focus on what you ‘need’ instead of what you ‘want’

Chi:      Look… I ain’t no saint! And, I can’t climb to a mountain top!
Qi:        Eh! You are just a victim of consumerism wrapped as social compulsions

Chi:      So much for your high thinking & great philosophies…you could be an alien in disguise!
Qi:        Why be below average and suffer?

Chi:      Listen… we are not as rational as we think we are
Qi:        That’s because we refuse to use 90% of our brains

Chi:      It’s nothing but a fish brain at the core of all that grey matter
Qi:        And you refuse to rise beyond it!

Chi:      There are anyway too few who can handle me for what I am. If I go any further I would soon be an outcast   
Qi:        Fear of being outstanding?

Chi:      It comes at a heavy price
Qi:        The deserving one will be able to afford it

Chi:      That’s just a faint little iota of hope
Qi:        Why loose it?

Chi:      But I don’t even have happy feet!
Qi:        Fins are the ‘need’ and you have it

Chi:      So I would just stop asking for anything more
Qi:        Why ask? Go get it!

Chi:      You mean jump outta this bowl? You are kidding me now!
Qi:        You just don’t get it

Chi:      I do…it’s just a nasty joke and I am not amused!
Qi:        Neither am I!
